Coshun keeps going on about, when was the last time, if the game finishes this way, that everyone else was no hit except for one guy who reached every time?

I could swear that when Verlander no hit us, Bill Hall reached base every AB that game, and he was the only one to reach base.

Complete game no hitters are a thing of the past now.

Eh, I don’t think so. I think almost any manager would still let a pitcher run it up to 115 or so...per usual.

No manager is going to do it when you are at 100 after 6 innings not before and not now.

But you never see pitch counts get that high anymore. If you have even one laborious inning you have no shot to complete the game.

Personally I think each person is different but for what its worth, both of Fiers no nos were in the 130s for pitch count.

I really dislike the entire player weekend nonsense, and Jeffress has driven that point home for me.

Logos on the name plate? Bread and Butter?

Stupid.
