Even bad teams get hot, and the Brewers are not a bad team. This team is primed to get hot in September, but why wait? This offense is not as bad as I make it out to be, and and has hitters ready to bust loose, now is as good a time as any for that to happen.

Sweep and a Nationals or Cubs sweep and we're right back in it!

Yep! The Cubs and Jonathan Lucroy are getting whipped right now, too! :)

Good news and somewhat bad news. The Brewers have burrowed behind so many teams now that day to day scoreboard watching becomes relatively insignificant. To really accomplish anything they need a streak of 7 or more out of 10 and then look to see if they’ve gained on anyone. That has to start soon by winning some series against other playoff contenders. Anything less than 4 wins on this 6 game home stand will be another step backward.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Is any other fanbase as concerned about the location of their play by play announcer on a daily basis as some of our forum members are?

I'm guessing the quality of replacements for other teams are just as bad as the main guys so other fanbases don't notice a difference. I believe for the Brewers the dropoff is significant enough that many people notice the difference.

Well, seeing as how nobody else's play by play man misses half of their games, I would venture to say no.

So MLB's idea is to allow players to express themselves by putting whatever name they want on their jersey but give them white jerseys with a silver outline basically making the names unreadable?

Can we bend the "customization" rules to have their kids color in the numbers and letters of their jerseys? If so, someone get the Sharpies!

Bounces going our way so far.

I'd be curious to see the catch probability on Moose's fly ball too. It seemed to hang up there a bit.

Almost seemed like the RFer may have not really seen it.

EDIT: Saw it again, just right between the OFers. No chance catching that.
