Milwaukee Brewers Giftcards/Certificates

Question for the BFers... I received some gift certificates this summer for Brewers Baseball, but have been delayed in getting back to Miller Park (since May) due to an intense work schedule.

 

Looking forward to some September baseball, but it sounds like I can't use gift certificates for purchasing anything online or over the phone... they'll only redeem them at the ticket office. This is extremely frustrating since a trip to/from Miller Park is a 2+ hour round-trip. I normally pick up some Brewers gear when I'm there, but $200 is alot to just spend on food/stuff, and I'm pretty disappointed that I can't use that $$ for tickets/parking without coming on site.

 

Any suggestions, or just avoid Brewers giftcards all together in the future?

I remember having this same problem a few years ago when someone gave me one but I don't live that far away. At this point I'd rather save them for another season. Then just use them at a window when you're already there for a game. Or I'd just get gear. I know the gear is "overpriced," but I've always thought the quality and selection is better than anything you get elsewhere.
