There had to be some records resulting from this game. For instance:

- In the same week, has a starting pitcher ever lost a 1-0 game and then been the starter in a game in which his team gives up 14+ runs and had his team win?

- Has there ever been consecutive games where the winning team had 2 runs and then the losing team had 14 runs?

- I assume both teams had a 90% win probability multiple times. That couldn’t happen often.

- The game having 10 runs scored after the 8th inning could be close to a record in games involving the Brewers.

We may have to trade Hiura.

He does need to work on his fielding for sure. Yikes.

I'd rather keep the .900+ OPS and try to find a similar bat at shortstop.

I know you don’t value defense much but Hiura is beginning to enter that zone of oh crap, he just isn’t any good out there. Just gotta hope he improves but he’s really a butcher. It may cost us.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

How's this for wild stats:

With 39 games left to play, the Brewers already have 198 home runs.

What is the team record for homers in the regular season?

https://www.baseball-reference.com/teams/MIL/batteam.shtml

231 in 2007. Needing only 33 to tie that with 39 games, I see no way that record doesn't fall, and by a large margin.

EDIT: By the end of the year, 3 of the top 4 homerun hitting seasons in Brewers history will be the last 3 years.
