If he’s tagged out, this board erupts. It wasn’t very smart to go there.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

3B ump having a convo with Eddie and not watching Grandal’s at bat.

I said during the Cubs series that there was a 90 percent chance Yelich was hurting because of how bad he was looking at the plate. Two days later he was out of the lineup.

He looks just as bad now.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Gotta get the save, this one could entirely cancel out last night's debacle.

Agreed, it’s perfectly setup to serve some retribution to the Twins for last night’s game. This feels like a really important opportunity to bounce back and move on from last night’s bad memories.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Not sure why the 10-day DL wasn’t used. They have enough OF to weather the storm to get him healthy.

On a serious note, I'd try to preserve his last option year. Either stay the course for a couple weeks and wait for reinforcements in September or go the phantom IL route.

If they option Gamel they wouldn't actually use an option since he would likely be called up September 1 and be down less than 20 days. It would actually be decent roster management.
