Grandal has been about as productive as a wet fart after his hot start to the season. Between that and his debatable associations with the pitching staff, I hope they invest those dollars in pitching instead next year.

I think it’s more likely that they’ll invest those dollars on a different hitter or two.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Well that would be a shame. Eventually having a stable, above-average staff would be nice.

1 million % better than Manny being the every day Catcher, without question.

If you like shoddy defense then yes, he's worth ten times what Pina makes.

I keep hearing how brewers ops is the same righty vs lefty so there really is no issue. If you watch the quality of the at bats there is no comparison. This team can't hit lefties. I don't care what the ops says. With Moose neutralized Grandal turned around Pina and Cain below par and Perez/Arcia in there they just are hoping for Hiura to have a big day. Minor is tough but it's more than that.

Sure it would, but the Brewers aren’t going to try to get there by taking on Yu Darvish type contracts. They need guys like Burnes and Peralta to develop the way Woodruff did. They will probably be in the market for a shorter term, less pricey contract, like they got with Chacin, but they aren’t going to go for a $20 million a year for 4 years or longer type,of contract. If your a left handed starter conspiracist this game is helping your cause

One hit. One

Considering how any scrub lefty called up from the minors seems to hold the Brewers offense in check, it shouldn’t be surprising that a good one can shut them down completely.

That’s so common in the social media era that it isn’t worth noting. You get credit for noticing it at all.
