A fun reminder that Freddy Peralta has actually been good as a reliever and has electric stuff out of the pen.

Scares me, gives up too many KEY Hr's...see, Almora, Albert, and Davis, Khris to name a couple.

Peralta's HR/innings as a reliever is the same as Hader's.

Should have gone to him instead of a tired Hader.

Poor managing. You just CANNOT be afraid of using your entire pen. If you are, we should have sold and called it a season.

Hader has a legit problem. That’s going to torpedo this team, ladies and gents.

His problem is...working DOWN in the zone too much lately. It sounds strange, because that's typically where you want a pitcher to work, but not Josh, he is FAR more effective when he works UP in the zone. His fast ball down=very hittable(especially for a lefty), his fastball up=UN hittable.

I am really surprised (and not too happy) to see Hader again today. You don’t know how effective he’s going to be pitching three days in a row, especially against the same team. I get the theory about getting the win today, but at some point the manager has to say that somebody else has to step up and pitch a scoreless inning, and if they can’t, you lose.

But, since I don’t like the Brewers I don’t really care if he blows the game today and is unavailable until Sunday.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

This is going to be such a deflating loss.

Walks. Freaking walks. I don't ever care about the HR. WALKS.

Yeah, lots of missed opportunities on offense today as well.

Unless they have a great comeback tin the 9th inning this one is going to hurt heading into a weekend at Wrigley.

These west coast series at the Angels, Giants, Padres, and now A's have really been particularly frustrating. The only west coast series they've won is versus the Dodgers.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

What a disaster. And now hader is done for at least the first game of the cubs and maybe more. Just a stupid move

Could be the turning point in our season. To not have him over the next couple of days could come back to haunt Counsell. He has made some really questionable decisions this year to say the least.

It just seems so odd that CC brassed it out last year against withering criticism for his unwillingness to deviate from the Hader plan, and he starts changing his tune now? Against the A’s? With Chicago looming? I’ve defended him at nearly every turn, and maybe he’s got numbers I can’t even imagine suggesting this was the play. Heck, maybe Freddie slipped in the shower this morning. But I don’t get this.
