Sell! See ya' Moose! See ya' Grandy! Let's build this team with contact hitters and speed! We could use a few good arms, too.

If we aren't sure we can extend him we better move him. Like it or not if Moose is gone next year we need to get Shaw going.

If I had my choice between the 2... I'd pay Grandal. His bat at the C position is absurd.

I just don't see how Stearns can buy. There just isn't enough to think this team can do it. I just don't know how you can do it.

I could see a bit of both. Buy some filler rentals with rule 5 eligible guys. Sell a couple expiring blue chips.

With the Mets and Reds getting into the pitcher market one of two things is happening. Buyers are lowballing, or the price will spike sky high on pitchers.

Chase anyone?

I'm hoping to see Wilkerson get a start tomorrow.

I was really hopeful that this team could go on a run and add a few valuable pieces, but at this point I just don't see how Stearns can buy. Although if you get to the playoffs anything can happen, I have a hard time seeing this team get much of anywhere. I don't think he'll sell though and I don't think standing pat is the right move either. It's tough.

What a deflating loss

Bad loss, but it's one loss. Against one of the top teams in the AL. Its obvious that last night's result will have absolutely no bearing on whether they buy or sell today. That decision has already been made. I just don't want to see them stand pat. Either make some moves and go to the playoffs, or sell off your rental pieces and regroup for next year. Because if we've learned anything, this team as currently constructed is pretty middling. I keep waiting for them to get hot and go on a run, and it just hasn't happened ... mostly because the offense is so inconsistent. The hitters need to be better.
