Weird, a couple weeks ago no one really cared how the Cardinals were doing.

I guess that's probably because it's July, there are about 60 games to go, and each team in the division will have both cold and hot streaks between now and the end of the season.

I wouldn’t be that worried if we didn’t just crap the bed against a bu. H of bad teams for two months. We should be in a nice spot. Not hanging on by a thread

This is kind of why I really don't care how the other teams are doing. If we figure it out and start playing better ball, we'll be in the mix in the end. If not, teams are going to pull away from us, it's just a matter of who. It's all in our hands.

It does kind of matter what other teams do. If you are in the dodgers or astros division you would have no chance. This season has been helped by the other teams playing bad

I get your point. Every team has it in their hands. If they win the rest of their games. They will be in the playoffs. Guaranteed

Supak giving up 4 bombs in his first three innings. He’d fit right in!
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

It's maddening to me that Counsell repeatedly has such a short leash with Chase..He's pulled him early when he's been throwing well, I just don't get it, at all. I'm with everyone else as well, PHng Shaw against a lefty?? Why?? You never used him against lefties before unless you absolutely had to.

Anderson might have to start Wednesday again.

Does Counsell bench coach ever weigh in and say this is stupid. Why burn Shaw there when they have a bullpen full of righties coming up?

Burn Shaw? Gamel, Thames, and Grandal are way better PH options off the bench than Shaw...

It still doesn't make any sense when 1) There was no real reason to PH there with nobody on and 2 out with no real reason to pull Chase and 2) If you're absolutely going to PH at least use a righty against Lester such as Saladino.
