This stuff is getting comical. Not sure how many more signs are needed to sell this season.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Now Gio is hurt? Throw in the freaking towel if this is anything serious. It just can’t hold together if he goes to the IL. I can’t see it.

I like Gio Gonzalez as much as the next guy, but if he's the difference between going for it and throwing in the towel, we never had much of a shot anyway.

In what order should we schedule our starters? I'm thinking Davies, Anderson, Davies, Davies, Anderson.

Looks like 5 aces to me! :laughing

It’s the totality of calamities. Sure, Gio in isolation should not sink you, but Woody and Chacin and Nelson and nothing form Burnes or Peralta (as starters) and now Gio? Yeah, it feels like a death knell.

Maybe he’s hurt enough for us to get a discount going into next season. *Fingers crossed!

Well, if anything is wrong with Gio I think you've got to give Supak a shot now. You just have no choice.

Beyond that, I'm not sure. You can probably add a back end guy for relatively cheap, but you might as well just roll the dice on Burnes when he returns at this point and hope for the best.

I've given up on hoping Arcia will ever be anything special at all. We're in year 4 now.

Either you just live with who he is or look at dealing him and maybe either start looking at SS upgrades or give Dubon a shot.

I like what I hear about Supak, but has he even thrown a single pitch in AAA? Then he has to come up and be a hero in a playoff chase? How many pitchers can we psychologically damage in one season? I think you’re right, it’s probably their best option at this point, but if we’re hoping for much from him, we’re likely to be very disappointed.

Probably the worst hitting mechanics on the team including the pitchers.

The Arcia ship has sailed. The issue to me is as highly regarded as he was coming up no one in the organization had the guts to say you can't hit like that in the bigs son? Failure from the organization top to bottom.
