“Update for everyone asking. We are still without power at the stadium. We are working on getting a generator set up here. We will know more at 10am. Apologies for not being able to answer everyone individually. It's a bit hectic here. Thank you for understanding.”

Box: Biloxi 8, Mobile 5, ten innings

Huge days for CF Dillon Thomas, LF Cooper Hummel, and 1B Weston Wilson, 8-for-11 with four walks between them, Wilson on base all five plate appearances.

Biloxi Sets Franchise-High Mark With Ninth Straight Win

By Andrew Chapman / Biloxi Shuckers

Quiet week media-wise for this latest road trip, but this squad deserves its share of kudos. On a day when top offensive player Patrick Leonard (.855 OPS) was 0-for-5 with four K's, others stepped up big-time.

Andre Nnebe was on base three times with a single, a triple, and a walk. Danny Casals singled and doubled, while Darrien Miller singled and walked twice. None of the three pitchers used by the Brewers had noteworthy performances.

Final: AZL Cubs2 7, AZL Brewers Gold 3

AZL Brewers Gold Box Score

Brewers lose to the Cubs, part 2. The Gold squad got behind in the 4th inning and were not able to mount a comeback. Francis Florentino and Oswel Leones each singled and doubled, to lead the offense. Yohandry Perez, coming off an awful outing last time out, pitched 2 1/3 scoreless, though he did allow two of his three inherited runners to score. Jose Parra pitched a scoreless ninth and has not allowed an earned run in 17 2/3 innings this year.

Just like there are Sunday lineups, there are Sunday "oh my goodness we have to get to our flight/bus" game summaries. That was one.

Here's the OKC summary for more details (understandably), including highlighting some Missions' action.
