Idiot Dback announcers making lite of the brewer injuries, laughing at Thames, wincing and grimacing. Ridiculous. Thought Brenley was better than that.

Did someone else get hurt besides Thames? I've been following on GameDay off and on today.

Besides the Woodruff and Thames injuries? Ryan Braun is out with back tightness. That’s it I believe.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Anyone know who was supposed to be starting for San Antonio tonight?? Belasario is starting, and it was listed just a bit ago as TBD...to me that means there was a change of some sort

Smyly pitched the 11th & 16th so it would have been his normal turn tonight.

Abdominal? I swear the Dbacks announcers said “elbow”. Whew

From the Brewers Twitter account...

.@B_Woody24 left today’s game with abdominal discomfort

Well that's better than possibly twisting his knee while landing, I read the awkward landing thing on CBS rotowire. He was already getting up there on pitches and wasn't doing very well so hopefully just a let's call it day precaution.

No, he collided, hard, with Avila at the first base bag. He’s definitely injured.

Smyly went 6.0 IP for the Phillies today versus the Pirates. Allowed 1 run on 4 hits, 2 walks, and 8 strikeouts.

Eric Byrnes is a weird dude. He looks like one of the sketchy territorial surfer dudes in Point Break

This made me spit out my drink.

Call it a dumb question, but why does Yelich need a 'scheduled day off'.

Cal Ripken never needed them, nor did a lot of other all time greats that played 160+ games a year.

It’s called load management. It’s all the rage in the nba

My point is, if teams didn't used to do it and the players were still fine, why do we need to do it now? Why fix what wasn't broken? Exhibit A, Cal Ripken Jr.

Oh boy. Freddy is rushing. Back to back days not in favor. Where is Fat Albers?

Why do you have to personally insult Albers? It is uncalled for.

He's been called that since he's be6in the show. Where u been?

I know that, I have been right here. Fat shaming sucks and has no place here. Keep it to baseball.

He had some mediocre years in his late 20's early 30's. Probably could have used some time off.

Because our understanding of rest as a preventative measure has evolved over time.
