Hader with an ERA of 9.00 (possibly more) one blown save (possibly more) in July, and pulls out of the All Star game due to injury. Looks like he might be trying to pitch threw some nagging injury.

Nothing about that outing looked like he was struggling. The only true hit was the Donaldson single, and he got 4 outs.

This feels like a huge win. Very huge.

Really nice to slap Keuchel around after no much bellyaching about the Brewers not signing him. Really nice start from Anderson today.

And Mr. Stearns, get shopping. It's reliever buying time!

Heck ya, after last night it woulda been demoralizing if they didnt do what they did today. But they carried it over and I think are going to be back in first soon.

He was touching 98 with the fastball, got two strikeouts and a lot of weak contact. Other than being results oriented (both runs were unearned) How does it look like he was trying to pitch "threw" some nagging injury?

Back 2 back games with alot of heroes in them. The offense spread out, not just Yelich.

Chase with a great outing. Man if we get keep Chase going and Davies continues pitching well, I like are 1 2 3, weather in that order or not

LETS GO CHASE, keep pitching this way and you are gonna earn your self a spot in the rotation in playoffs.

Basing the July split off roughly 5IP that included long delays between most all Hader's appearances, too. Blame it on rust, but there's no indication giving up two jam shot singles and having his catcher drop a 3rd strike is the result of a nagging back injury.

Al McGuire used to say that the Queen Mary turns with a bump.

The next 11 games will tell us a lot about whether this is a bump that starts a turnaround, or just a short respite from the fall.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.
