Just as I posted the message above, another example of Yelich being off balance with his swing in ways he never is when he’s in a good groove.

 

He has like 7 hits a home run and several walks since the All Star break. Sure he's not going deep every night but he's still been pretty damn good

 

He’s such a good hitter than even when he’s “slumping” he can pick up some hits. But when you see him every day he’s not hitting at all like he does when he’s going good, and I’m sure he would say the same thing. A lot of his recent hits have been on grounders through the middle and not the shots in the gap that produce the home runs and extra base hits.
