Arcia's bat won't play worth a crap at 3rd.

 

He'd probably be a fine utility infielder, but if he's starting, his value is at SS. Just not a good enough bat to start anywhere else.

Moving Arcia to 3B would give the Brewers the worst 3B in all MLB. He's a guy with an OBP below .300 and limited power. His only value is as a SS or utility type player.
