There is, frankly, ZERO chance of Hader pitching 3 games in a row anymore. None.

 

During the regular season, I agree. I think it could happen in the playoffs, though.

That is true. But you did not say that in your post.

 

And, usually (but not always) games 3, 4, and 5 of a seven-game series are on consecutive days.

5 run game is mop up duty, that’s exactly where you use him. There weren’t a lot of options left.

I still don't get why if they're so worried about it they don't just stick Hader in an outfield corner and keep him in their back pocket if things go awry like right now.
