That game was handed away. But, since the Brewers already have the salvage win for the series anything else in this series would be gravy.
Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

- Counsell doesn't use his LOOGY in a 1 run game with 2 outs in the 8th, just because, I don't know why

- Yelich bunts, yes bunts in a tie game in the 11th

- Yelich half asses a terrible throw into the infield with the winning run coming around.

- Thames half asses an attempt to catch it

- Burnes backs it up...like not at all.

- Burnes sets up that very play with an 0-2 grooved fastball after Puig just fished after 2 sliders

Anyone on the team that cared to try to win this one tonight?

Told my wife I'm going to turn the Brewers on to watch them lose. Three pitches later that happens. Now, I'm just here to read the comments.

Here's a recap of what you missed.

Anderson being pulled prematurely.

Counsell leaving in Albers to pitch to Votto.

Yelich bunting in the 11th

Walk off bad cutoff fundamentals.

Did I miss anything else?

Lost in all of that greatness was another really awful 0-2 pitch.

Burns really seems to have a penchant for piping two strike pitches.

Those were two brutal pitches. He really needs to be in AAA to get his control worked out. We will need his arm down the stretch.

I really don't think that awful 0-2 pitch was lost on anyone. It's been discussed.

Moose did his best. Other than him....

Yea, and what's frustrating is that his slider has looked great. I wonder who is deciding to throw that fastball there?

Think he was referring to the second one of the inning on the walk off. It was equally bad as the one to Puig.

Hiura was just sort of standing out by 2nd base daydreaming on that last play, which about perfectly sums up the play.

Wasn’t Hiura in RF on the line as the cut off? Thought that’s who Yelich over threw.

The whole pitch sequence to Inglesias was just awful once they got to two strikes.

The dude was diving out at everything and was just begging to get buzzed up and in with a fastball. You got an upper 90s fastball. Use it.

I mean...Yelich hit 1 of the 2 cuts. It really wasnt laziness.

It could've been a better throw.

Yes, but I dont think it was laziness.

The laziness was Thames attempt to catch it. And I saw some blame Burnes for not backing it up. He was behind the plate backing up the catcher as he should have been. The ball wound up halfway up the 3B line so Grandal went to get it and Burnes was at the plate for his throw. Once again, where he should have been.

Yeah, I don't mind 0-2 fastballs if they are high and tight. Woulda been a good pitch to Puig too.

They set up on the outer half with the fastball which was the exact wrong thing to do after throwing him four other pitches out there.

Oh, I forgot Braun's "I'll just turn this double into a triple" effort attempting to field a ball and Hiura's "Please touch my glove" tag attempt. Neither one cost us but it's still bad fundamental baseball.

Meanwhile, the Cubs are scuffling worse than us right now.

At this point, not thinking about the Cubs. There are other threats in the Central.

We need to fix our house. The rest of the division doesn't matter if we can't do that.
