Nope. I said if we don't add two arms we can trust he is on the road to being overworked. Most of you don't take the time to read before firing back with nonsense. No bother. What I said is a fact and tonight adds to it.

The Brewers have been very firm in controlling Hader’s rest. There are days he’s flat out unavailable. I just don’t believe he’s ever going to be over worked.

Totally agree pen arms would help the team, just has no bearing on Hader’s usage.

It will if Brewers feel like he's all they have down the stretch. I am sure they are going to be careful but then again how many games will that cost us?? Hopefully Stearns makes it a mute point.

But it won't if the brewers don't take that approach and continue trying to rely on their lesser pen arms because they know that the second they actually start overusing Hader, he starts becoming ineffective and the whole works becomes a dumpster fire.

The same stuff was said about Haders use at this time last season when he actually had alot more appearances and innings logged and he was strong through the NLCS in late October...I trust they know what they are doing with Hader, because they've proven it by actions. This whole hypothetical is dumb to hash and rehash every IGT...

Taking Chase out of the game when he did was imo, mind boggling. 77 virtual stress free pitches, 2 outs, no one on, WHY? No off days till the break, bullpen NOT rested. If I’m a beat writer, it’s my first question to Counsell.

Windmill Eddie at it again. Calling for Yelich to bunt. Can’t believe it!
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I think the non move to Claudio against Votto in the 8th was far more questionable.

Burnes in this ballpark is kinda scary.

Burnes in any ballpark is scary this year.

He’s only given up one home run in his last 15.1 innings pitched in relief (since May 22nd).

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Yep. No doubt about it. The thing about Counsell is he will say we need guys to get deeper into games blah blah but then turn around and yank a guy who is crusing. It just makes no sense at all.
