Here comes the yearly Braun being hurt but not getting put on the IL for some reason.

You could insert Cain for Braun here.

It doesn't look like Braun was too concerned when he was taken out of the game, but if he's out for an extended ampunt of time and with Cain struggling, what do you do with the outfield?

Roster Grisham and play him, also call-up Tyrone Taylor. Play Grisham and Gamel in the OF, Taylor bench, Saladino could play of too vs lefty’s.

No offense, but what is your infatuation with wanting to play rookies this year?? They aren't going to help the Brewers get to where they want to go this year.

Not to mention swapping out proven players for a couple of guys that have had all of one good season each, the former of which has about 50 at bats at AAA. What a horrible notion.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

Braun is likely fine......every time a player leaves with a bump or a bruise some fans start to revamp the roster.......lol.

I said Braun didn't look concerned and I just brought up a hypothetical that others commented on. Nobody was hardly overreacting. Knowing Braun it's not completely out of the question.

Why anyone would want to see Tyrone Taylor up is beyond me. He's putting up a .670 OPS in AAA in a league where David Freitas is hitting. 370. He's not a legitimate MLB option even off the bench and I'm amazed frankly that he's still even on the 40.

I mis-read the post. Thought asking what to do with the outfield if Braun and Cain went on the IL.

Grisham would probably do well because of his plate approach. Freitas would could(could?) hit well enough to allow Grandal to play 1B vs Lefty’s, but at worst still hit better than Pina’s .155. And Dubon should probably stay down till the deadline, likely traded.

The thing I love about Yelich is his mechanics. The hands start out almost at the proper launch point and there's almost no wasted movement.

The more things move around the more chance there is for something to not be in the right place at the right time.

Freitas is not going to get called up in place of a guy who only plays once a week and is a superior defensive catcher just because you're needlessly in a panic mode about the offense, so much so that you are stumping for DS to call up half of San Antonio.

Is the camera guy drunk this series? Showing the ball fly relative to the sky isn't something normally done. We can't tell what's a routine fly and what is a bomb.

The park is just so small the camera can’t zoom out far enough to provide context. He’s doing his best.

Aguilar has to be hanging onto a roster spot by a thread. It's just tough to keep a non productive offensive player with no defensive value on the roster this long. I wish they'd find a way to phantom IL him, but he's pretty clearly 100% healthy or they would have done it by now.

But, but Freitas is the answer to our offensive woes! So obviously he wont have as good of stats as Freitas.

Really wanted 2.1 from Peralta there. No reason to pull him with 2 outs.

Who do you trust to get to Hader?

Nobody really, just hope we get lucky. Albers is probably the best of the underwhelming late inning non-Hader options.
