Looking through the lineups it does not appear as though Hiura has batted ahead of Cain or Braun in any of his starts to this point.

 

I'd imagine it stays that way until Keston goes on some kind of tear.

Because Braun and Cain have been better? In avg, or obp or ops?

 

I'm sick of treating Braun like a legacy. Took them forever to get Grandal and Moose ahead of him in the order. Hiura's next. Batting in front of the pitcher? Batting Arcia pseudo lead off? It's clumsy all around.

Braun's effort in left looked strange ...

 

Reds broadcasters said its age related.

 

They're probably right; he could have slid into the ball and knocked it down, though, I thought. As it turns out, it didn't hurt us. Whew! :)

Tough luck on that Grandal hit that was snagged by Puig. Glad Yelich got the HR, just wish Grandal was on after what looked like a no doubt base hit off the bat.
