Hader for two more innings? Albers and Jeffress unavailable? Man Hader is that dude but won't be for long at this rate. Gots to find two more trusted arms or he's toast.

There are 96 pitchers with more relief appearances than Hader so far.

There are 18 pitchers with more innings in relief to this point.

Only three of his 31 appearances have come on consecutive days.

He threw a total of 63 pitches over the nine days prior to today.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

But none of those fit the narrative that this team is bad and continuously makes poor decisions ;)

Woooooooooohoooooooo!!! Seems like a great time to get hot and win a couple of series heading into the break. Great start!

Haha. Sometimes I'll just be walking down the hall & like see a really hard math problem on the chalkboard & then totally solve it just for fun.

It does kind of suck that you can’t use your stud on back to back days

But I’m all for,the way the brewers use hader. You have to keep him fresh

I don't disagree that they need another high leverage pen arm. Maybe it will end up being Burnes. Maybe Peralta. Maybe Houser. Maybe Will Smith, maybe Ken Giles, maybe Shane Greene. But the guys you have right now you're still kind of biting your nails if it isn't Hader. Albers has done a good job lately, but I still don't really trust him as that guy.

Wait ... I thought this was a bad team? It's all I've seen the last few weeks!

:laughing Well, most fans know the talent is there for this team. Just gotta find a bit of consistency lately and we’ll be alright.

I also don't disagree that they could use another back end arm. But the narrative that they are overusing or misusing Hader is obviously false.

They were 48-7 last year in games he pitched and 27-4 so far this year.

I'll never question Counsell on his bullpen management.

I mean, that stat is pretty misleading. Hader generally never pitches without a lead, so that number is pretty expected. But I do agree Counsell is generally a good pen manager.

Obviously? Because you say so?? Again the fact that you don't agree doesn't make the other point of view wrong but I think you know that since I have to correct you just about every day.
