So that gives Grisham 16 HR this year, after hitting a total of 19 in his 4 year MiLB career heading into this season.

He isn’t over-swinging either, his forearm strength and wrists seem to be doing all of the work.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

OMAHA - The Missions Sunday afternoon tilt at Werner Park was suspended due to rain in the bottom of the fifth inning with the scored tied 7-7. The game will be completed Monday starting at 12:05 PM Central.

San Antonio surged ahead early, 6-0 after Keston Hiura slugged his second grand slam of the season in the second inning.

Missions starter Zack Brown was unable to hold the lead as Omaha stormed back to eventually tie the score in the bottom of fifth before the skies opened up and play was halted.

Trent Grisham slugged a two-run homer in the second inning. The outfielder has homered in all three of his games since being promoted from Double-A. He also added a pair of walks in the suspended affair.

Final: AZL Brewers Blue 4, AZL Royals 3

AZL Brewers Blue Box Score

Back-to-back home runs from Alex Hall and Kevin Hardin in the 6th provided enough cushion for a pitching staff that gave up only one earned run and the Blues improve to 2-4. This is only the second time that Hardin has not had two hits, in this his fifth professional game. The 20-year-old 33rd rounder, native of Knob Noster, Missouri, and generally big dude (6'5, 245) does have a five-game hit streak to begin his pro career.

Arbert Cipion, Luis Silva (still just 17), and the aforementioned Aussie Hall all chipped in two hits. Hall also now has now caught five runners attempting to steal in eight attempts.

Starting pitcher Ian Exposito made his pro debut after signing as a nondrafted free agent and lefty acquitted himself well, allowing a run in 4 IP. A quartet of relivers pitched earned-runless ball over the final five innings, though a few errors did conspire to allow a two unearned runs to cross the plate.
