Bases loaded...no one out?? What could possibly go wrong?? Smells like a DP and a K coming up.

Lol, yeh we are all thinking that. I was thinking Cain would hit that 3-1 pitch to the infield with the run on contact play on.

Per the Brewers: RHP Aaron Wilkerson has been recalled from Triple-A San Antonio. RHP Corbin Burnes has been optioned there.

From Adam McCalvy: Yasmani Grandal is hitting leadoff today as the Brewers try to snap a five-game skid. Let’s get weird.

Glad to see Burnes go down, and hopefully stretch out as a starter. I think he can be the equivalent of a trade at the deadline if he can get right. He has the stuff to be a successful starter. Him pitching well in the rotation or pen down the stretch is a huge key to any post season run. We don’t have enough bullets left in the minors to get multiple arms. We need internal arms to step up and Corbin has prolly the highest upside.

Also, when you're batting the pitcher 8th your cleanup guy isn't as important of a role. Your 2/3 hitters have the biggest role. I like the strategy and think it should result in more guys on base for Yelich and Moose.

The sooner they automate the strike zone the better.

False, the sooner they leave baseball the exact same and stop changing the game the better

Sorry, change is happening regardless of how much you may hate it. The game has been evolving and changing for 150 years and will continue to do so.

Why not just watch robots play? Sounds fun.

I don't think a machine calling balls and strikes changes much though. Just getting calls correct. We'll see less deception (or none) by players to influence a call.

Why not just go back to the dead ball era if any change to the game of baseball is terrible? That was probably the biggest change to baseball ever. Sounds fun.

If you can’t fully enjoy the game the way it is, you’re not a baseball fan. Arguing calls is part of baseball. People that complain about it are the reason a runner starts the inning at second base now in extras in the minors.

So... is it fair to say that if you can't fully enjoy the game if they automate the strike zone, then you're no longer a baseball fan as well? There are literally about a thousand things I care more about keeping in tact in baseball than allowing umps to make incorrect calls.
