I think we see a nice outing from Nelson tonight. I'll say 6IP, 5K, 2BB, 2ER...something along those lines.
"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

I'm not feeling confident about that at all.

Me either. Reds can swing it and Nelson doesn't seem to have his feet on the ground yet.

Believe it or not I've had worse predictions.

Man. Hiura at it again. Already down 3-0. Thanks Stearns.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

The team needs a shakeup in the roster very quickly.

This aloof false confidence is not gonna' cut it.

Shaw ... you're outta' here.

Aguilar ... take a seat for awhile.

Arcia ... take a seat for awhile.

Nelson ... try to get ready at AAA.

Braun/Grandal/Thames at 1B only. Aguilar only pinch-hits.

Saladino at SS for a week while Arcia pinch-hits occasionally.

Hiura at 2B. No brainer. (Moose back at 3rd)

Houser/Peralta take Nelson's spot in the rotation.

Let's do this yesterday!!!

Let's be proactive ... not very slowly reactive. Small market teams gotta' be smarter! Come on, Stearns!
