This is looking like another example of the Brewers offense having trouble in a rough home run environment. Their well hit fly balls are turning into cans of corn.

When did this happen before?

Many times over the years, like at Wrigley Field with the wind blowing in last year and this year, and in parks like San Francisco, San Diego, and others.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

DFA Cain

Yelich could not see it, either.

Didn’t think I’d have to put that one in blue.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

This team was built to hit homers. That's just what they are. You aren't going to tell them to go out there and be a bunch of Skip Schumakers just because they are playing in a spot where its tougher to hit homers.

Getting up early to play golf tomorrow. Maybe I’ll have a pleasant surprise when I get up but this is looking like a long game that won’t be much fun to watch.

The Brewers just got done averaging 5-runs a game in SF. Over 7-runs a game in Pittsburgh.

Their offense isn’t the problem.

Without looking deeper into the stats, it just feels like Chacin is not pitching to contact as well as he did a year ago. He went deeper into games last year in stretches because he got a ton of weak contact.

Braun has chopped out a lot lately.

Needs more launch angle.

I'm not sure I understand a pitcher going on the injured list and then not going out on assignment to make sure he's ready to go. This is a hot offense. Why throw him out there with no work? Going to be out early again.

The Brewers know something you don't know, maybe. Your reasoning is logical, though. The Brewers would probably counter with the argument that his throwing "on the side" looked pretty good.

Weird outing from Chacin. His actual pitches have looked pretty decent...he's all over the corners but for the most part the Friars haven't been biting. And then there was a whole bunch of bad luck other than the bomb by Machado
