2019-06-16: Brewers (Anderson) at Giants (Samardzija) [Brewers win, 5-3 -- Thames & Aguilar each hit a HR; Hader perfect over final 2.0 IP]

Be a shame to waste one of the great seasons in baseball history with Yelich. Find some pitching. You have the best player in baseball right now.

What would constuitute a waste?

Missing the playoff?

Losing in the Wild Card Game?

Losing in the NLDS?

Losing in the NLCS?

Losing in the World Series?

If they don’t win the World Baseball Classic, I’m disappointed.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Appreciate Yelich while you can. Have never had this type of production in our history. Glad he’s on our team.

Cooper hit .352 one year for us.

Molitor hit .353 one year for us.

Braun, Fielder have had monster years. Braun with at least one MVP, right? Yount was an MVP of the league a couple times.

We've been blessed with some great players. Yelich is up there with them, and may exceed them all this season ... it's a nice thing to argue over, I guess. :)

We have plenty of options on this roster to play 1B. I truly hope that we plan to bring Hiura back up as soon as we possibly can and stick the kid back at 2B full time.

Thames bomb. Shaw 2-hits. Uh oh. What are we going to complain about offensively? :laughing

Really, never? The Brewers existed back in the 80's you know.

The Brewers have definitely never had a guy put up an 1.199 ops for a season, if Yelich stays on this pace.

1.200 has been done 20 times ever. Mostly by ruth and bonds. Thats rare air.

Well, Arcia is quickly sinking back to Cain levels of offensive production. I'm sure the Arcia hate posts are being t'd up as we speak.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

In my opinion you want to be back where you were last year. You brought back everybody and added Grandal so that's the goal to me. If you are the wildcard and out in one game lost season. We have to as fans ask for and expect more.

It's a different game now then back in the 80's. You look at what Yount, Moliter, etc. did and it's pretty much the equivalent of what Yelich is doing. Kind of like a house that cost $50,000 back in the 80's is worth five times that today.
