It’s been much too common in recent weeks for the Brewers to go into the last game of a series looking to “salvage” a game. That’s always frustrating, but it’s even worse when it happens against lousy teams like the Marlins and Giants.
Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Too many moving parts on Shaw's at-bats, it seems.

 

He consistently swings underneath the ball, BUT ...

 

a liner to left for a single in his first at-bat today.

 

Piitch him up in the zone and it's tough for Shaw. This single came on low-outside pitch. I'll take it for now, though!
