2019-06-14: Brewers (Davies) at Giants (Pomeranz) [Brewers lose, 5-3]

Eye Black
Got to take BP at Miller Park today and I feel like I could run through a brick wall. Brewers by 100 tonight!

Hit any out?

Unfortunately, no. I did swing the Braun bat a few times and it’s no wonder he’s late on inside pitches. Thing is a log. Had some good contact though. Gap to gap!

You never could hit the breakaball.

Seriously though, thats really cool!!!

Awesome experience!

I feel like I would not have realistic expectations for myself, then get grumpy when I didn’t hit some dingers.

Has anybody ever led the league in steals and homers? I'd think not, but Yelich has a chance.

I wonder if anybody is ever LED baseball in batting average, home runs, RBIs, and steals?

Wonder what you would call that?

Compared steals and home runs from 1900 on and no duplicates. I don’t think anyone has won both during their careers. I thought someone like Mays or Bonds could’ve won a SB title early in their careers but didn’t notice anyone on both lists. For sure not same year.

The Giants have a really old and boring team.
"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006
