2019-06-12: Brewers (Woodruff) at Astros (Verlander) [Brewers win, 6-3 in 14 innings -- Brewers overcome 24 Ks with four long balls; Thames HR ties it in 7th & Moustakas HR proves the difference in extras]

Eye Black
This lousy team is trying to push to 10 over again. Can’t believe these turds.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Moose with authority!!!! :laughing

21 home runs for him now. 25 for Yelich. Move over Maris and Mantle '61?????

I was thinking a few days ago, the number of teammates who hit 50 dingers in the same year has to be a pretty exclusively short list. I still think it's an outside shot for both Moose and Yelich to stay hot enough to do it, but it's cool to think about.

Moose has to be top 10 mvp candidate so far this season. Playing two positions and protecting Yelich. Dude is a stud.

Not sure if he's top 10(not saying he isn't, just haven't looked) but man, I'm so glad we traded for him last year and then re-signed him this year. I honestly wasn't a fan of both at the time, but as I said then, gotta trust Stearns.

Mouse is having a career year and has been sooo valuable to this team with Shaw and Aguilar struggling.

Still hoping we can get one of them going, but even if we don't, Hiura will be back up and our offense looks really nice.

Tonight’s (hopefully final) Brewers strikeout leaderboard:

Cain - 4

Shaw - 4

Braun - 3

Grandal - 3

Arcia - 3

Yelich - 2

Moustakas - 2

Gamel - 2

Thames - 1

It’s actually pretty remarkable, but it will make for a very memorable victory if they finish it off here.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Is there a website somewhere that shows you what players are on pace for statistically? I remember fangraphs used to have one but now I can’t find it and I could’ve sworn it used to be on baseball reference also.

CBS sports fantasy site does. Not sure I you can access it if you aren't in a league.

I was skeptical as well but he seems like a great guy and the championship experience doesn't hurt. To get him for 1 yr along with Grandal is theft.

Are they saying BOOOO or MOOOOSE?

I was saying MOOO-OOSE

Slow clap. Well done.

Interesting. I would not have put money on Thames being the one with the fewest ks on a night like this.

Remember what Yoda said:

Brewers 2019 Splits:

Men On Base: 115 wRC+ (6th in MLB)

Men In ScoPo: 112 wRC+ (8th in MLB)

As frustrating as it can be to not score (or even make contact against a top MLB closer) in certain situations, this team has, on the whole, performed well when they've had runners on base or in scoring position.

Projecting this team to the playoffs and hitting quality pitching? I'm thinking it's gonna be a rough go.

Stearns has his work cut out this trade deadline.

Tigers are open for business...I go get Miggy. Solves the 1B issue

Did you just name him because he's a player you've heard of?

Fun fact...fangraphs projections predicted that Yelich would hit 28 home runs this season...

There was a sportswriter that predicted Moustakas would lead the league with over 40 this year.
