This Astros AAA lineup stinks.

The best thing about the astros moving to the AL was not having to play In this abortion of a ballpark ten times a year

It's also pretty nice to get what is arguably the league's most talented organization top to bottom out of the brewers' division.. sure, we missed out on beating up on the Astros during that string of 100 loss seasons right after they switched leagues, but back then we had the awful Cubs to pummel, too.

I’d have rather the Brewers went back to the AL instead. That would have eliminated this Cubs fans at Miller Park garbage. Never was a problem with the White Sox or Twins. Stupid Cubs fans.

I mean Freddy wasn't great tonight, but we're seeing arguably the most potent offense in the AL even without 3 of their best players. Tough outs all the way through the lineup. That pitch Yordan Alvarez golfed out wasn't a bad pitch from Albers, he's just an absolute stud hitter with monster power, and the Astros have a few of those guys.

Can you win a division when 2 out of 5 rotation spots are going to give up a ten spot no matter what team you are playing. It has to be frustrating standing out there in the field watching this garbage

Hernan perez might lead the league in appearances the way this is going

When good Freddy only happens against the Marlins at home with Miller park day game shadows and bad Freddy is pretty much every other start, it's time to option him to the minors as soon as Chacin is available to come off the IL

Good grief this post made me sad.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

Astros missing 3 of their 4 best players and still have 8 runs through 5 innings.

Oh yeah, well the brewers are rolling with a lineup with pitchers hitting in their 7 and 8 spots despite having the DH available!

It’s still better than when we had to DH counsell that one year

That has to be the worst DH in baseball history

Very true. Tremendous disadvantage.

Indeed sad when the options are so bad you're desperate to return a guy put on the Phantom IL because he was bad.

But I'm good to give Houser a couple of shots.

BRef does not list Craig ever appearing as a DH.
