I hate facing Brantley. I loved tracking him in A-ball for us.

Meh, give it two weeks until his next injury that has him out the rest of the season...happy he's made a nice career for himself after being the only prospect who did anything of value at the mlb level in the Sabathia trade

*Mat

I blame Mr. and Mrs. Gamel. They insulted the gods by spelling Matt, Mat. They could have saved their wrath by spelling Ben, Benn...

When I heard the Brewers acquired Ben, I actually looked it up to see if it was spelled “Benn”.

Didn’t look like Cain needed to jump for that one, but I’m not going to harp on his defensive ability.

That's a really weird corner there. He almost smacked into the padded wall, then jumped and just missed it. Throw in that the ball was slicing a lot, that's tough

It is unbelievable that Brewers can't score anybody from third but other teams do it against them every time. It has to be addressed. How can this be?? What can be done? Who's to blame?

Whoever makes the decision that they should swing for home runs every at bat instead of altering their approach in that situation. I’ve heard that statistically that’s the correct approach but I still disagree with it for some reason... probably because I’m an old, crabby man that has never seen his team win a World Series.

Cain has to be playing hurt or something. He's been pretty consistently terrible

Who do you call up?

And it is time for Peralta to move to the pen. Maybe with fastballs, he can be a right-handed Hader. Either that, or send him down to learn a new pitch, and to re-work his pitch mix.

The best thing about the astros moving to the AL was not having to play In this abortion of a ballpark ten times a year

It's also pretty nice to get what is arguably the league's most talented organization top to bottom out of the brewers' division.. sure, we missed out on beating up on the Astros during that string of 100 loss seasons right after they switched leagues, but back then we had the awful Cubs to pummel, too.

Here's where we remind everyone that the Astros are missing there three best players. Jesus for the Alvarez kid straight up. Who says no?

Besides the Astros you mean?

Remember what Yoda said:

"Cubs lead to Cardinals. Cardinals lead to dislike. Dislike leads to hate. Hate leads to constipation."
