Another homer for Grisham.......where did this come from?

How great is this?! Haven’t been this excited for him since he crushed rookie ball after draft. He has always had this profile but nice to be excited about something more than his ability to walk. As unimpressive as his average has been, he has always been solid (always over 100 wRC). Still relatively young for AA at 22, he has restored his stock that had him free falling down prospect list.

Proud member since 2003 (geez ha I was 14 then)

FORMERLY BrewCrewWS2008 and YoungGeezy don't even remember other names used

The thing I love about following the Brewers minor league teams is this: It really irks me when the Brewers lose. It only bugs me when a Brewer affiliate loses - as long as the next outing is better for the farmhands who did not perform admirably in an individual start. One thing, though; I have long held a sneaking suspicion that other organizations are far better than the Brewers organization at recognizing pitchers who 'tip their pitches' - - - and are able to take advantage of this.

San Antonio Pre-Game Media Notes

***

Box: Las Vegas 17, San Antonio 7

The Missions' arms, especially RHP Aaron Wilkerson were due for a clunker, and only RHP Alex Wilson (one inning) escaped unscathed.

Game summary will be out on Tuesday. Cory Spangenberg and local product Jake Hager had a big game, including his own home run. Four of San Antonio's seven runs came in the 9th. Keston Hiura 0-for-4. Missions didn't draw a walk, but only fanned three times. Oddly wild rout.

Six losses in a row, and this co-op club was down 6-0 early, but at least it was once again an Indians starter who was victimized. Hey, the Nationals only have one DSL team, and they are 0-7, so there's that.

Brewer batters were a combined 4-for-22 (all four of the team's hits), with Brazilian 18-year-old 2nd-year-pro LF Vitor Watanabe 2-for-3, double, walk.

An eight-run 3rd, a four-run 5th, game log here for a review.

All aspects in play to snap their own six-game losing streak, no errors here, drew six walks.

Brewer pitchers did walk eight, so one negative.

16-year-old Venezuelan Jesus Parra continues to shine. 2-for-5 (double), three RBI. He's played four games at 2B, three at 3B. Keep in mind, he's already listed at 6'2", 184.

Another important youngster, 17-year-old Dominican CF Eduarqui Fernandez, clubbed his first pro home run and walked twice.

Key SS Eduardo Garcia was pinch-hit for in the 5th, hopefully just a result of the early score situation, as there is no hint otherwise.
