Yelich increasing his league lead in HR and SBs today. nice

30 SBs is a very real possibility for him.

We’re getting closer and closer to the point that Aguilar isn’t going to be able to get enough ABs to get out of his slump.

It’s too bad considering how well he did for so much of last year, and how well liked he is, but the team can’t afford a dead spot on the roster.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

DFA Aguilar and option Shaw.

That may be the ultimate result. I'd like to give Shaw a little more than 3 games to see if he's right, though.

And Shaw didn’t play today lol

He’s not going anywhere. Aguilar on the other hand. This was exactly what I was afraid of going into this season with him.

Wow that was a really really slick play by Arcia there. Well done.

It was a slick play, but if he could have had an easier out at first he should have taken it.

Well liked > YES, zero doubt.

But secretly, players breathe a sigh of relief to not be around someone struggling THAT MUCH for as long as he has, has to be uncomfortable, what do you say to him?

A sweep would have been tough here, glad Peralta came through when we really needed him. Now lets get back in gear against Pittsburgh, we seem to either be good or bad against them, maybe it is our year to pound them all season.

Nope. You have to be reading the standings wrong...or you just aren't paying attention. Our season ended today. No possible way after the schedule we had to start that we could be tied for 1st with the Cubs.

I don't know, how are your friends dealing with your message board struggles?

But seriously, they just talk to him. He hasn't become a leper. I don't think his struggles are making other players not want to be around him because it's uncomfortable.

Day game with Peralta has me feeling good. Especially if he gets past that first inning. He is a full run better during the day and the WHIP is about 1.000

I have a sneaking suspicion that we're going to see "Good Freddy" today. My only concern is if they'll have him on a limited pitch count because he hasn't started in awhile.

I'm not holding my breath. I have no clue what they see in this kid as a starter. :-\

I'm glad he proved me wrong yesterday. :)
