2019-06-04: Marlins (Lopez) at Brewers (Anderson) [Brewers lose, 16-0 -- Lowest scoring offense in MLB tallies 11 runs in 5th inning; Hernán Pérez puts on a show and pitches a 1-2-3 final frame]

It's a coincidence I know but the Hirua thing is going to get played up. I know Shaw is well respected and welcomed back but the energy level just seemed off from the get go. Burnes needs to go too by the way. Brewers need to establish do results matter or don't they? Burnes Barnes Williams shouldn't be on this team.

Agreed all 3 should go down. I'd option all 3 and call up Nelson, Wilkerson, and Hart.

My goodness Shaw and Arcia with 2 well hit balls and nothing. Not the Brewers night.

I am sorry can't see this game has any effect on Hirua going down. But Chase should not be in the rotation and Williams should be looking at the Alamo and i agree about Corbin being sent down and getting his head straighten out.

13 man staff and you have to turn to the guy who saved your last win here? Whoa.

Exactly, Burnes should be closing or down below stretched, working on his pitches. Sorry folks, he’s high leverage or nothing.

I’m past the point of knowing if you’re joking, but if he can only perform in high leverage, then he’s not a professional baseball player. He needs to go down and get it figured out.

That’s just the way HE is. He obviously has problems with getting his adrenaline going in non high leverage situations, I believe most of us see that, although I’m the only one who says anything about it. There’s been closers that unless there in a high leverage spot they just can’t perform.

Just about the only good thing about tonight was Travis Shaw going 2 for 3 with a double and a walk. And Hernán pitching a 1-2-3 inning, alternating his windup between the Alex Claudio wiggle and the Bronson Arroyo leg kick.

yourout,

Thank you for your explanation about Brewers' fans compared to other teams' fans. I think at the very least, you are on to something I have noticed, too.

I think you are both full of it! lol

Every team has good fans, and bad fans...

No matter where you go, you see more people on their phones than are watching the game...

Watched a Indians Yankees game in Cleveland in somewhere around 2008 in July and you would have swore it was game 7 of the World Series the way the fans behaved.

Granted the Yankees were a rival of the Indians at that time but none the less I was impressed.

I think you mean 1998
