Miller Park as a whole seems blah ... no energy, lots of empty seats ... aren't we in first place? Maybe the Hiura demotion and Shaw promotion stole some thunder from the stands? Maybe the Marlins are not a big draw, either?

Having been to Minneapolis Cincinnati Cleveland St Louis and Boston we do not have the best Baseball fans here in Wisconsin.

I’ve been to all those places as well, and both Cleveland and Cincinnati were very poorly attended during the series I visited during the height of summer (June/July).

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Cain has been struggling a lot lately, in the lead off spot anyway. The one game he hit 3rd, he perked up, but was back at lead off the next day with the same crappiness...

What is with Cain tonight?

That was bad.

So is the umpire. He's been quietly terrible. Lopez getting a lot of borderline calls that Chase just isn't getting.

I don't know about the rest of the game, but those pitches to Cain were strikes.

I was addressing it more as how the fans were knowledgeable and made noise before something happened not after.

Brewer fans tend to sit on their hands unless something happens whereas the games I was at in Cleveland Boston and St Louis the fans were far more vocal before anything happened. Other places fans seem to have a better understanding of the game as well and seem to know situational baseball.

Pitch 2 was mostly definitely not a strike.

Cooper has been red hot, and he continues against his old team...

Can someone refresh my mind, who did we get from the Yankees for Cooper?

LHP Tyler Webb. Now in the Cardinals system.

yourout,

Thank you for your explanation about Brewers' fans compared to other teams' fans. I think at the very least, you are on to something I have noticed, too.

Where is the organ with hints to scream, "Charge!" ... or ... "Here we go Brewers, Here we go" ... or ... "We will, we will rock you" ... or ... "hi ho, let's go?"

I think you are both full of it! lol

Every team has good fans, and bad fans...

No matter where you go, you see more people on their phones than are watching the game...

Watched a Indians Yankees game in Cleveland in somewhere around 2008 in July and you would have swore it was game 7 of the World Series the way the fans behaved.

Granted the Yankees were a rival of the Indians at that time but none the less I was impressed.

When the pitch was called a strike real-time, I didn't even question it. I question bad strikes all the time on here.

Doesn't matter, this team is hitting like crap tonight.

I did, and that was why I went to Gameday to confirm my thoughts that it was a bad call.

But agreed, they're losing because they're playing very poorly tonight.
