Seems like a good chance that not bringing in Hader to start this inning is going to cost the Brewers the lead. Getting out of the inning tied would be a victory, but then it kind of seems like pitching Hader in a tie game is a bit of a waste.
Not just “at Night” anymore.

Screwed up bad on Alex Cobb a couple years ago. I was obsessed with getting him.

This is some solid self-ownage.

Yep. Honestly, I bet you could pull up a pretty ugly looking prediction/hot take for mostly every single one of us. I thought Keon Broxton was going to be a special player.

At least he was until he ran into the wall.

This should be a thread: What have you been most wrong about?

Another game where Brewers are clearly at least one good bullpen arm away from where we need to be. Asking Hader to get 6 tough outs every night is ridiculous. No team needs Kimbrel more in my opinion.

This would be relevant if Hader got 3+ outs before imploding...but it took two batters.

I’ve considered it before. I really wanted the Brewers to break the bank for Yu Darvish.

I'd be all over that one.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

It's getting towards take a few weeks off watching these guys territory. They're so close yet so far away every other game.

I was certain Arcia was going to have a breakout, all-star season last year.

Burnes would be one for me this year. I was convinced he was going to break out his year.

It's still relevant. This kind of situation is going to keep happening all season long. You cant have an 8 man pen but in s close game 5 or 6 of them you have to think twice about using. Not if you are really trying to win.

We get the point he was making, not specific to this game.
