The team's stopper is going today. Woodruff has been a godsend for this rotation so far. I feel like he got the least hype of the three young guys coming in ... probably because he was the most proven commodity. Glad to see him pitching well and proving his doubters wrong.

McNeese is playing Ohio State on ESPNU and their jerseys are very similar to the old Brewers roadies.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I think it was pretty clearly age-related. The other two have time to get to Woodruff's level and there's plenty of reason to have hope that they will. Woodruff also had the worst numbers of the 3 the deeper into the game they went so there's another reason. His success should give everyone hope for Burnes and Peralta. Woodruff was anything but the most proven commodity. He was the oldest though.

If Woody isn't near perfect like that last time out, then I'm guessing the IGT exceeds 3 pages. That was a all-timer and it didn't seem to excite anyone at all. Unfortunate state of fandom.

"Unfortunate state of fandom"? It's possible that people were doing other things instead of refreshing an IGT during a Sunday afternoon game on Memorial Day weekend.

Could be. Or it could be just like most every game thread. The losses produce IGTs significantly longer than the wins. Unfortunate state of fandom.

Is there a reason we cant try to play Gamel at 1st base? I know he isnt a power hitter like a first baseman should be but he should be in the lineup over thames and aguilar and I am guessing he could play first

Arcia is going to hit 20. He’s also going to make some feel very foolish.

It is amazing what happens when you don’t have a dumb leg kick....

Don't tell Keston that!

The book is still out on his. High leg kicks aren’t necessarily automatically bad. With Arcia it was quite apparent it was aiding more to his struggles than helping his timing.
