Well, Supak is at 105 pitches but he’s going to come on to try to finish up the no-no in the 9th.

A 4th inning error on Jake Gatewood the only blemish so far.

[sarcasm]Smooth move, ex-lax.[/sarcasm]

Brewers traded Jason Rogers, who would see 33 more MLB PAs and is now in the Atlantic League, for Supak and Broxton. Broxton was traded for Bobby Wahl, Adam Hill (starting in Appleton), and Felix Valerio (Dominican lottery ball). Nice value chain by Stearns there.

San Antonio Pre-Game Media Notes

Box: Omaha 3, San Antonio 2

Travis Shaw went 1-for-3 with two walks and a strikeout; Brett Phillips, batting 9th, 0-for-4, three K's, it's been a miserable 2019.

Yes, the Missions had a golden sombrero in the box; maybe the Brewers can spin RHP's Alex Wilson and Jake Petricka in deals if there's no room in July, both pitching well...
