2019-05-30: Brewers (Anderson) at Pirates (Musgrove) [Brewers win, 11-5 -- Season high 18 hit night]

They're overtalking this Hader decision. You pull him. If the rest of your pen can't protect a 6 run lead with 1 inning to go, you might as well just give up.

Correct. Albers is far from good but if a 4.5 ERA and a lefty specialist can't finish 3 outs without giving up 6 runs something insane happened.

Yeah, Burnes needs an extended vacation in Texas for awhile.

He's electric when he's on, so it sucks, but we can't have a functional role for Burnes right now when good Burnes only shows up 40% of the time.

I totally get people wanting him down, but who do bring up, Williams? He’s terrible in high leverage. It’ll be interesting to see what the crew does. If the choice is Williams Barnes I’ll stick with Burnes.

Does that count as pouring it on?

Coach Cooper is a fan of pouring it on, he once had a 15 run lead in the 9th, but that wasn't enough for Coach Cooper, no sir. He continued pouring it on until the other team left the field in shame. Coach Cooper was like that.

Williams has not impressed, but he's still one of the better arms as far as upside in the system. In addition he is holding righties to a .591 OPS in his career so he is useful against righty batters. It would be good to see him start getting some of the righties that Claudio has been getting.

Nice win tonight. A lot of positive, Moose, Yaz, and Grandal were great. Burnes.... not so much. I'm not sure what to do with him, but if he can't get outs on a somewhat regular basis, we have to send him down.
