Ed Sedar needs to be canned. The guy is simply terrible. Not saying this specific play was his fault, but we are easily the worst baserunning team in the league and have been for some time.

This team's inability to get runners in from 3rd with 0 or 1 outs is pretty pathetic. Our pitching has been great (aside from Burnes meltdown) in May, but we are getting eaten alive by mental mistakes and really lack fundamentals

Why don't players slide head first to get as low as possible on a play like that? Grandal's feet first slide did nothing to evade the tag. Might as well just stayed standing.

It is annoying how this team is playing but it is crazy to call this team terrible. They are at worst going to be 4-6 on a 10 game road trip against 3 of the top 6 teams in the NL

Yeah, they aren't a bad team. But they are probably a Christian Yelich injury away from being a below average team.

This team is garbage.

This team really isn't very good. It's basically Yelich or bust.

If the Yelich trade never happens this is probably a 75-80 win ballclub.

But it did happen and they’re better than an 80 win team

A guy hit a medium deep fly ball into a stiff wind with a slow runner on 3rd, and then they got a super lucky bounce on a wild pitch. Yikes. Sometimes stuff happens.

Yeah, that is the breaking point that makes everyone decide the team is bad?

Depending on how long he is out maybe. That said a lot of teams would struggle if they they lose a star player.

Agree.

If the team won’t/can’t manufacture runs and Yelich not going off, they don’t score except for solo hr or two.

This team is gonna have to pitch it’s way to the playoffs, which I think it will do.

Watching Keston try to take 2nd the other day while our 1st base coach just stood there and watched was a sight to behold as well. This organization doesn't really seem to care much about hiring guys for base coach positions that understand the nuances of baserunning. It's far more about relationships and the good old boy system.

Extra innings games are not going to be friendly to a team like the brewers who have trouble doing the little things like putting balls in play getting blunts down and baserunning. This sets up for another disappointing day.

Arcia slid in around the tag. Does our buffoon of an interim manager seriously not understand that you literally have nothing at all to lose by challenging these at this point in the game?
