The thing is it's everybody. Rookie to the oldest vet. They all stink with bases loaded. Cecil Cooper is rolling over in his grave watching all these rbi go by the boards.

He's still alive.

Fine. Harold Baines is rolling over in his grave at all these game winning RBI opportunities.

77PAs Bases loaded. It sounds great in comparison to the league, but, Bases loaded 0 or 1 out and not scoring twice in a game is 5PAs right there. So think about that then to the teams that have a positive wrc/OPS whatever stat you're looking at in that situation. A hit will often score two not leaving the bases loaded for another PA.

Braun strikes out without one strike being thrown to him.

Another golden opportunity wasted after some of the luckiest hits you’ll ever see.

I think Hiura scores easy even if Donaldson would have gloved Cain's chopper.

The one time Sedar throws up the stop sign.

Just realized this is the third straight Saturday with extra innings. Hopefully not as many innings this time around.

Guess I got my wish sooner than hoped. :ohwell

Not just “at Night” anymore.

What a winnable game blown. Braun with an absolute rookie AB in the 9th and Counsell another inexplicable Claudio vs. RHB decision were the biggest game changing moments in this one.

The Claudio ab vs Riley was the killer. Jeffress and Gurrea available. This loss is on the manager. Unfortunate.

Agreed. Not Counsell's finest managerial moment. I think he immediately knew it too. He keeps on trying to shoehorn Claudio into a late-inning stopper role, and he may be nothing more than a solid, but soon-to-be-extinct LOOGY.

LOL! Literally

How bout Ty Cobb? He might be rolling over in his grave. Although old Ty was kinda tired of hitters trying for the HR ball by the early 1920's

Yes, it sucked to have Claudio and Hader give up a couple of runs but we had a boat load of opportunities and didn't take advantage of them. One thing I'm noticing for a couple of weeks now is we are leaving way too many runners on base. I didn't see last night's game (I watched the Bucks game instead) but how many times are we gonna leave runners in scoring position with less that 2 outs?? This was an issue last year too. Pitchers use hitters' aggressiveness against them. Braun should've used a nine iron at his last AB. :tongue
