2019-05-15: Brewers (González) at Phillies (Arrieta) [Brewers win, 5-2]

HE NEVER TOUCHED THE BAG!

Got hulu so I replayed it multiple times... he never touched the bag when he landed. His foot was 3 inches inside the bag and he never got his heel back to it.

Good no challenge. We need 3 feet to get a replay to go our way.

Wow, Yelich runs a longer distance than Harper and doesn't need to slide into the wall making a catch. I know, I know.. the trajectory was likely different; I'm still laughing a bit at how Harper acted like his ankle was broken when he was really fine.

He was getting pulled off the bag to the stands. He lands and his foot is 3 inches off the bag, by the time he rocks back Hiura's knee is damn near on the bag.

CC do you not have replay guys

I thought he was out on replay. It looked like Keston slid but didn't actually touch the base until he started his 'pop-up' motion. His lead foot didn't touch the base before Hoskins' foot came down so I don't think it wouldn't been overturned anyway.

LANDING is not what he needed to do. He landed before Hiura got the base. The 1b didn't touch the base when he landed. Not close. He landed stopped his momentum then rocked back to tap the base and I'm not honestly sure if he ever did. Replay 8x minimum on hulu. No chance he had the bag before hiura.

Close is good enough on the GIDP old school rules at 2nd is the only way Hiura could be deemed out.

Beautiful piece of hitting by Christian there going with where it was pitched and peppering left field.

Also, where is everyone tonight? Is there something else going on??

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Fell asleep and missed the 5th. It's been a long week.

I would expect more are watching the Bucks than sleeping though.

Hiura isn't debuting. Bucks are playing.

I don't see that anyone mentioned it

FSN had a little segment on how Cain had altered his batting stance before his big night the other night. So far results have been much better obviously.

They showed still photos and said he is setting his hands higher. The thing about that claim is Lorenzo’s pre-pitch routine is to constantly bob his hands up and down between the locations of the two still image positions they showed. I am a slightly skeptical about the claim that he has changed his hand positioning right before he swings, but I guess if they say it’s so I’ll take their word for it.

We are just running into bad luck aside from the poor approaches w/RISP. That wasn't strike 3, and Grandal often would get that down the line/ into the gap. It feels like we should be blowing teams out every game.

That wasn't a strike, and then of course that's immediately followed by a great catch by Bryce Harper.

MLB says strike, FSN had it on the black. That was a strike. The breaker pitch 3 wasn't til he chased it.
