Man Harper is overrated. Can’t believe the Phillies didn’t learn from utlsy and their various other huge contracts

I really want the Brewers to put together a rally here. Not because I think they need the insurance runs, but more so just because want to see Keston hit again.
Not just “at Night” anymore.

I did too. Now I am sad...though barnes is coming in so who knows.

Barnes is an absolute waste of roster space.

Because he can't protect a freaking 5 run lead, Hader has to begin to get loose.

Geez.

When all is said and done, what a great first game for Hiura. Lots of guys make it to the bigs, but few have a first game like this one...

Well done!

But has 3.00 ERA and 0 HRs allowed in 9 innings out of the pen.

Lost in the excitement of the Hiura debut was yet another very nice outing from Brandon Woodruff. The 5 walks weren't ideal, but he managed to scatter them enough where it didn't cost him. He's really come on in the last month. The Brewers' starting pitching is in a very good place right now. Pretty much since when Gio was signed. He's been a nice stabilizing pillar for the rotation.

They are going to have some interesting decisions soon on Anderson and Nelson.
