Not being able to pull out double OT the other day could end up being far more costly than we ever imagined. Reminds me of Game 4 of the NLCS when we were deep in extra innings and had a chance to put the Dodgers on their backs and go within a game of punching our tickets and we just couldn't do it. We all shrugged it off and moved onto the next game but we never recaptured the momentum after that.

What a pathetic display of effort by the Bucks. On both ends of the floor. I thought it was the Bucks that had the much deeper bench. I keep hearing that the Raptors will wear down late in the game but I haven't seen it these past two games. They just want it more.

Are we still going with the series is in no danger, Raptors are on dead legs and won't have 2 more of these games in them theory?

Because in this game we appear to be the team on dead legs who don't have 2 more of these in us.

But when they lost 22 games during the regular season, why? Because they didn't defend the 3 and the other team hit while they didn't. Defend the 3, even if it gives up a few more in the paint and this is still a game. Mirotic backing off Powell to just let him take it, isn't good defense or tactics and you'll never convince me otherwise despite going 60-22. Eventually a team is going to hit and hit and hit and you'll lose 4 of 7 playing this way.

So now we've lost 4 out of 7 after we'd lost just two games so far in the playoffs?

The three point shooting isn't the problem, it's being sloppy with the ball and playing lazy defense. And when they lost 22 games? So when they lost the fewest games of any other team?

The problem in this game is effort. Maybe it's fatigue, but whatever is causing it, the Raptors are playing harder and getting to more 50/50 balls when the Bucks almost always do. That's it. Not the way the Bucks play. Not the Bucks defensive philosophy.

LOL and people were and are still saying if we lose Middleton it will be ok. Yeah this game is proof that logic is extremely flawed.

Middleton has been terrific today, but I don't think a game in which he's blowing up and we're getting blown out is a great exhibit of his importance to the team.

Middleton has had several bad games this postseason. He is not a max deal player.

Well enjoy the mediocre Bucks then and watch Giannis leave. Without Muddleton at best the Bucks will be a 5 seed.

It's easy to say crazy things when everything's going right. Middleton is the 2nd most important player on this team. He's the only guy who can score when things break down and he can get his own shot. And he can play pretty solid D. He needs to be signed regardless of what he asks for. He's probably not worth the Max, but it's either give him the max or try to save 5 million and lose him. That sets us way back.

So, like I said, stand on principle and offer him 26 million instead of 30 million because you deem him "not a max player," and then see how upset Giannis gets. Jesus...he was upset when Kidd and Maker left. Pretty sure he's going to be upset when the only other AS we have leaves because we don't want to pay him the max for some arbitrary reason.

No, it's a larger body of work, but it does show when the Bucks can't get anything going and are disjointed, there's one guy who's staying calm while also playing with some urgency and hitting shots. Mirotic is a good player who's been AWFUL tonight. Bledsoe is a guy we need because he's so good defensively and can get to the hole, but his confidence is shot.

I'm totally convinced now that whoever comes out of this is getting waxed by GSW.

Yeah, if the Bucks defend the three like this, they'll lose every game by 30.

The Raptors have hit 35 pct of the threes. If you think THAT is the primary problem, you're not watching the same game I am.

They're lacking that desperation and desire. Every game there's four or five plays that an individual makes simply because he's fighting so hard. The Bucks haven't had a single one of those plays tonight.
