Corey Ray with a leadoff HR!

Also, today is the return of Jake Gatewood after coming back from the ACL injury. He’s starting at 3B and hitting 3rd for Biloxi.

Has homered in three straight games. Really seems to come in bunches for him.

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

He's got a long way to catch up to Hiura's OPS...hitting a HR a day sure helps!

Wow! Was not expecting Gatewood back so soon! Nice to see him start it off with a HR! Glad he is back!

Lutz stays hot, Kid just hates hitting in April. He his becoming Aramis Ramirez like. Slow starter but gets going pretty good after. We need him to take off as a prospect. Our system needs the young guys like him start to rise up prospect ranks.
