2019-05-11: Brewers (Davies) at Cubs (Hamels) [Brewers lose, 2-1 in 15 innings]

Eye Black
Mlb needs to take the man on second nobody out extra innings rule. It is mindboggling trying to watch teams these days try to string together 2or3 hits. Customers have lives

I thought you gave up when Albers came in? I distinctly remember your "Game over" post and you said you were turning it off.

Yep. The game is available through other means. You probably still read box scores in the newspapers.

Then turn it off and go about your life. No one is making you watch this.

By definition a customer has to pay for a product or service. I am talking about people at the game. That said your reply is appreciated. Not really but you get that right?

What? Turn off your computer.

They did get 9 innings of baseball and now they are getting more baseball. They can choose to stay or leave.

Amazingly, the game is not over despite the Albers appearance, and no, I don't read newspapers.

Insert most interesting man meme that says I don't always play extra inning but when I do I prefer they go 18 innings.
Remember what Yoda said:

The question is; when we reach extra inning games do we still hate Cubs fans more or each other?

The players do not enjoy extra innings and the fans would rather have the game end in 9, as well. For the regular season, I'm all for one inning of extras with a guy starting at 2nd, then ending it with a tie. Make regular extra inning rules for playoff games only. Easy fix. Nobody would care. Win, win.

If Marlins Man is still in the front row, actual Brewers fans can hang in there and cheer our team to victory.

I'm supposed to be staining cabinet doors this afternoon, and unfortunately I can't because this game is still going. Rooting my team on, win or lose. :(

Very odd that Cain gave up on that ball. Not saying he’d catch it but sure looked like he thought it was a goner.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.
