Prince and the Count

brewcrew00

I noticed this morning how important the first pitch is when Prince works at the plate. When he gets ahead 1-0 he is hitting .357/.500/.777. In contrast, when falling behind .227/.254/.500. Now, on an empty count his line is to the tune of .300/.344/.733

After seeing these numbers it really put in perspective to me how good of a hitter he is. I would hate to have to be a RHP (or LHP for that matter) and have to see him four times. With Hall heating up, and Braun already hitting like a mature player, I can only dream of the pitches all three will begin to see as they find their groove!
