Hiura 3/4 with a double and a walk. He's striking out less and walking more albeit still not a lot. I think 22 of his 32 K's were before April 16th.

To add to that, early on in the season SA, like the major league club, played a lot against the Dodgers and Cardinals affiliates. Two organizations pretty good at developing pitching which might have played into things. I think the K/BB numbers will continue to move towards his career levels.

Up to .343/.386/.762 now. Hoping to see him in the majors soon, but I think it might be a while still.

Lucas Erceg also doing well, mainly he's walking a lot more. Also striking out more and hitting for a lot more power. Without having watched him, I'd guess from the stats that he's being more patient and selective at the plate.

Plenty of details here, devour those boxes as well, and we'll likely get a notes column with quotes during the overnight.

Love box score nuggets. As you just read in the summary, RHP Alex Wilson allowed a single run on a home run in his San Antonio debut. But the box score indicated it was an unearned run. How so? Catcher David Freitas dropped a foul pop during the at-bat.

And yes (sarcastically), thank you MiLB.com, we can't even copy and paste game log activity like we have for the past decade or so.

Box: Pensacola 9, Biloxi 2

So RHP Marcos Diplan is a prospect, right? Not on his current path...

As noted in the past, he'd have to be on the big league roster to stay in 2021 (without optons).

I put the numbers of his last 10 up on 5/4

I do believe he has 8ks in his last 12 games and 7 of his 8 BBs have also come in that span. On a 12 game run of 8k to 7bb. He started with 24k to 1bb in his first 19 games.

He's just dominating right now.

This what I’ve been hoping for. I wanted to see him walk more & K less prefer they even thought about calling him up. With Shaw useless right now, to bad Huira can’t come up. Him at 2B & Moose at 3B could really help offense. Really can’t produce any less than Shaw right now

Proud member since 2003 (geez ha I was 14 then)

FORMERLY BrewCrewWS2008 and YoungGeezy don't even remember other names used
