In hindsight they really needed Yelich’s bat in the lineup tonight. Just haven’t been able to produce much at all for what now equates to two full games worth of innings.

That's just the thing. With the talent we have this is unacceptable. So many above average bats in the lineup

Brewers actually were apart of the longest mlb game. 1984 played 33 innings vs the white Sox. 8 1/2 hours.

I think it was 26 or 27 innings. I could be mistaken.

It was 25 innings...

I was working third shift at the time of that game and had it on in the maintenance shop listening to the last 15 Innings or so.

I know Williams is a reliever but you can't get a bunt down? It's so frustrating to watch guys who have played ball their whole lives not be able to do it. League wide issue. It's terrible.

I suppose this is the problem. I expected one of the starting pitchers would be well-versed enough that you'd pinch hit them for the better chance at getting it down.

I was honestly thinking they'd just PH with Woodruff (or another starter who is more practiced at bunting)

This game should have the lighting from the last episode of Game of Thrones. At least we'd be confused about how ugly this is. God braun that's the worst throw from left I've ever seen.

I think they would have if they were not out of arms in the pen. Pretty much needed to ensure Chacin pitching was a last resort.

A complete waste of a good pitching outing. No ability to advance runners or get a hit with a runner in scoring position and some horrible baserunning.
Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Grandals throw on the steal wasn’t much better.

Agreed. Both reminded me of sixth grade
