Ender, I enjoyed reading your posts for years and I always found then to be knowledgeable and informative. But man, the last couple years it's just been post after post of constantly talking down to people.

Thats cool, I have reached my tipping point with people saying things that make no sense and then defending it when questioned. There is no way that someone who really gets baseball thinks Guerra has been good this season. If he wants to piss on me because I look at meaningful stats instead of a 17 IP sample of ERA which takes 500 IP to start to become meaningful so be it. This forum has been corrupted by knee jerk low knowledge posters to the point it is hard to stomach visiting at this point. I actually have him on ignore because of the consistent low quality posts but I made the mistake of clicking on display this one time.

Anyone referencing ERA in a 17 IP sample just doesn't get baseball, it means absolutely nothing in that sample.

LOL. You aren't wrong, and please continue to post as much as possible. Still, you aren't helping yourself here.

I think Braun gave up the launch angle pull the ball mode about 3 weeks ago. He is back to hitting it hard the other way. Maybe not, but it would be fun to hear him asked the question if he switched it up.

Braun's launch angle has increased during his hot streak.

Wow, Braun looked to be a dead duck. Got lucky there, thankfully.

He was kinda lucky-- but even if that's a clean catch it's a very close play. OBviously if the throw was perfect Braun is out by a step and a half, but that's an incredibly difficult throw to make perfect. It was a good gamble.

To be fair I also have adambr2 on ignore because of his low quality posts over the past 2 years. Had a few beers tonight so let myself be baited by displaying these bad posts. Figured I'd be asleep by now but this game won't end.

It’d be great to see Pina find his stroke. He’s been lifeless offensively.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

(Shrug) Not everyone here really follows baseball on a deep analytical level, and that's okay. We're all just fans anyway.

The question is why are you questioning it? Live and let live.

The guys a knob. Has all these people on ignore yet somehow gets their posts all the time. He must make some big money in the front office of a baseball team or something. :laughing

Pina now at 125 for the season. Bring back Voigt or Kratz.

He’s never going to be great offensively, and it’s even tougher playing as sparadicly as he has. Still solid D

Yeah, Pina has been a victim of Grandal's hot hitting in the first month.

So who's going to have shoulder soreness, or a "left foot contusion" to allow us to recall a fresh arm since no one has been down for 10 days?

I just thought that to. I’m not sure if any 40 man guys are eligible to come up. Can’t be many options if any.
